Bean (Sarena McCurdy) - Food Service Director

Hi!  My name is Sarena McCurdy, but at Camp I go by the name Bean.  I am excited to be the Food Service Director at Camp Y-Owasco this summer!  I have been in Culinary Arts at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES for two years, worked as kitchen staff at another area summer camp, and worked in the kitchen at the Pumpkin Hill Bistro in Aurora.  Having just graduated from Southern Cayuga High School, I have been a cheerleader since my sophomore year in high school and will be attending SUNY Cobleskill in the fall for Culinary Arts. I am a People to People student ambasador and also part of Who's Who among outstanding students.  This summer, I am looking forward to making and serving some delicious and nutritious food for the best campers and staff in the world!
