Katydid (Kate Driscoll) - Cabin Counselor

Hi!  My name is Kate Driscoll, or you can call me by my counselor name, Katydid!  I'm 21 and I currently go to SUNY Potsdam. I'm majoring in Mathematics and I'm minoring in Art History. At SUNY Potsdam, I'm in Circle K, which is a club that volunteers their time to help others out.  I'm originally from Skaneateles, NY.  My hobbies include kayaking, reading, photography, biking, crocheting, basketball, and softball. This summer I have chosen to work at Camp Y-Owasco to make a difference in a children's life. I want them to enjoy their summer by having fun, but also learning a thing or two throughout camp. I also chose to work here because I thought it would be a great experience and opportunity since I'm thinking of getting my masters in education. During the summer I'm looking forward to learning about the campers and teaching them skills and tools that they will need later in life. I'm also looking forward to having fun and making camp enjoyable for everyone. It's my goal for the summer that each camper feels welcomed and has an awesome time at Camp Y-Owasco.
