Pancakes (Emily Felter) - Cabin Counselor
Hey Everyone,
My name is Emily Felter but at camp I go by Pancakes. I am from Auburn, New York and have lived here for as long as I can remember. I attend The College of St.Rose in Albany, New York, where I will be a sophomore in the fall of 2011. I study Childhood Education/ Special Education/ English and Adolescent Education. I also play NCAA Division 2 Volleyball and received The College of St.Rose Athletic All-Academic Award in the fall. Besides volleyball I love to play ultimate frisbee, basketball, lacrosse, run, swim, hike, bike, camp.... you name it, I will probably like it. In high school I was on the varsity volleyball team for four years, MVP as a junior and senior and team captain and getting All-League All-American first teams and honorable mentions. I also played Varsity Basketball for three years being Co-Captain with honorable mentions and lacrosse for two years. I was in many different clubs throughout my high school years and hosted several exchange students. Little facts about me include my love for the color purple, giraffes, and the non-existent unicorns. I love a challenge and I'm daring. I love being active and doing photography. PS. I'm kind of tall. As a child I attended Camp Y- Owasco for many summers—day camp and resident camp. I used to love going to camp, meeting all the people, doing fun activities and doing something different with my summer. I am very excited to be a counselor this summer and hopefully show your children how to have a great time like I did when I attended camp. Hope to see you soon!!!!
