Wildthing (Matt Wild) - Cabin Counselor

Hello everyone!  My name is Mathew Wild, but I'm more commonly known as Wildthing at camp.  I am 20 years old and attend SUNY Cortland where I major in Business Economics.  Out of the many interests and hobbies I have, some are camping, fishing, sports, cooking dinner for my family, build bonfires and going to amusement parks.  I have loved sports my whole life, playing baseball and football for 15 years, basketball for 6 years, and indoor track for 3 years.  I love football and baseball so much that I continue to play them at Cortland as a receiver on the football team and a center-fielder in baseball.  I have decided to become a part of Camp Y-Owasco this year because I love working with kids!  I believe that Camp Y-Owasco is an opportunity to have an experience that will last a lifetime by being able to meet new people, try new things, and grow as an individual.  My camp goal for the summer is to be able to pass the swim test...(but no need to fret parents, I am not a lifeguard and not allowed out of the yellow section without a life jacket!!!)   I can't wait to meet all you campers and parents out there!
